Folks have been asking about Pelham Pointe and the 2017 Solar Eclipse. This once in a lifetime astronomical event last occurred in 1478 – 539 years ago in the Nashville-area! However, while Pelham will not be in the solar eclipse path, a short 22-mile drive down SR-50 to Beersheeba Springs and beyond towards Irving College/McMinnville will put you right into the action. The partial eclipse will begin just after noon, become a total solar eclipse for about a minute around 1:30PM, and then return to a gradually partial eclipse until just before 3pm. After your afternoon’s visual solar amazement, you can return to Pelham Pointe and continue enjoying amazing views from the mountain!
