Fireflies are back on the mountain for the Summer of 2017, and they are busily blinking about. You might call them lightning bugs, but their twinkling patterns are actually for recognizing mates. Adults only live for about three weeks, so while their illuminated dances grace the Cumberland Plateau, come stay at Pelham Pointe for a nighttime show!
